The Church Empowered by The Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-4, John 14:16-17)
The Holy Spirit gives believers power to be effective witnesses for Christ (Acts 1:8). Before sending the disciples out, Jesus told them to wait for the promised Holy Spirit, showing that God's work is done by His Spirit, not human strength. Jesus promised the Holy Spirit as our Helper, who remains with us forever. He teaches us, guides us into truth, reminds us of Christ's words, and helps us testify about Jesus. A Spirit-empowered church is marked by: Boldness instead of fear Signs and wonders that confirm God's Word Unity and fellowship among believers Devotion to God's Word and prayer Believers should continually seek the Holy Spirit, remain filled with Him, use their gifts to serve others, and avoid grieving or quenching His work in their lives. Key Truth: The Church fulfills its mission through the leadership, presence, and power of the Holy Spirit.
